Description
View of a funerary monument to Frederick II Eugene, Duke of Wurttemberg (1732-1797) at Stuttgart; a rotunda with an urn at the centre on a rocky outcrop in the middle ground; a path leading to a clearing in the foreground; an obelisk on either side respectively naming Frederick I William Charles of Wurttemberg (1754-1816) and his wife second wife Charlotte Augusta Matilda of Great Britain, Ireland and Hanover, Princess Royal (1766-1828).

Frederick I of Wurttemberg was called Frederick II, Duke of Wurttemberg from 1797 and he is referred to this under his name on the obelisk in this print: "FRIDERICH DER ZWEITE". From 1803-1806 he was Elector and from 1806 to 1816 he became Frederick I, the first King of Wu_rttemberg.
